Our story
Crispy Spaghetti was born in Brooklyn, somewhere between an Italian kitchen and a Jewish one.
The family story goes that an Italian neighbor brought a pot of spaghetti across the street to my family. The next day, they tossed the leftovers into a ripping-hot pan with a little oil, crisping both sides until golden. The leftovers became better than the original, and a family ritual was born.
To this day, whenever we eat pasta, someone says: “It’ll be better tomorrow.”
That’s the idea behind Crispy Spaghetti: turning leftovers into the meal you look forward to most.
